How to reprofile a user

We are in a Windows Server 2003 environment with all user using Windows XP Pro. All users are configured with roaming profiles. One user has a corrupt profile and needs to be reprofiled. What is the correct procedure to reprofile a user, both on his local machine and also within AD?

Thanks

Obviously, deleting ntuser.dat has to be done outside of the user's logon session...

Sirbounty,

Our company admins don't want us deleting anything..... We are suppose to go into AD and rename the profile by appending it with OLD. Same with the local machine, just rename the local profile by adding OLD.  Will this method give the same results?
Yes it will, because it will still be rebuilt...
