DSL-G604T Wi-Fi Internet sharing

Hi All,

Here is my problem. I have a DLink ADSL Router (DSL-G604T) with me. And I have my internet via a Hitron Tech Broadband Modem (BRG-35201) which is not an ADSL Modem, but rather one which once connected to my computer aqquires an IP in the range of 10.x.x.x dynamically from my ISP. Now I have two laptops with me, both equipped with Wi-FI capabilities and since my router supports wi-fi i want to share my internet via wi-fi.

However, i am not able to figure how to share it. Would apprciate if soume one can help me in detail (as i am new to routers and sharing) on what i need to do in order to share my connection

Thanks

am really lost here. I followed some guides (not very good ones) and set up the whole thing. Now i have my modem connected to my router and router connected to my pc. When the pc accquires an ip it takes up a 10.x.x.x range ipnow, which doesnt seem to be what it should do. And even though i have connected other computers to the router and all of them seem to work, non can connect to the internet (except the one that is connected to the router.

:(
how is the router connected to the pc?

Now i have my modem connected to my router via ethernet cable and router connected to my pc also via ethernet. When the pc accquires an ip it takes up a 10.x.x.x range ip now, which doesnt seem to be what it should do. And even though i have connected other computers to the router and all of them seem to work taking ips in the range of 192.168.x.x but non can connect to the internet (except the one that is connected to the router, which has the 10.x.x.x ip range as from the ISP)
ah, try changing the ip range of the router to 10.x
