SBS 2003 Fax Distribution List
I have a client on a SBS 2003 Standard Network and uses the SBS Fax client daily. He pulls his contacts from Outlook but would like to create a fax distribution list within Outlook. The problem is that when he creates a distribution list it defaults to e-mail showing up as "contact@1+fax number" Is this possible within Outlook?
Sorry, my response was to your original question that you just modified.
Just because that's what shows up in the distribution list view does not mean that is what gets put into the outgoing message. The proper formatting will be put into the messages.

Jeff, thanks for the prompt response. He is addng the members to the distribution list correctly but when he adds them they show up as contact@1+fax number. This goes into the fax queue and wont go through, it says the line is busy. But if he adds the contact individually the fax number is properly formatted and goes out successfully.

If you expand the distribution list it shows the name and the fax number formatted as a email address. This is because in the distribution list the column titles are "name" and "email".
Also, since he's sending out a group of faxes, you might suggest that he personalize each one by using Mail Merge within Word: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word/HA100819761033.aspx
