Configuring mac address and hostname on Cisco ASA wan interface?
Hi there,
We have a customer with a cable internet connection. In order for the internet connection to function we need to use a firewall that is able to clone mac addresses and configure a hostname on its wan interface.
Most of the cheap dsl or cable routers out there support this function.
We are planning to place a Cisco ASA firewall. My question is, is it possible to define a mac address on the cisco ASA's wan interface, and are we able to configure a hostname on the wan interface to support the ISP's configuration setup?
Thanks a lot in advance,
Ronnie
