Flash programming

I have a flash program where I want to use a button that will move from one scene or one project to the other or possible from one layer to another. Is there an action script that does this?

just a thought to add to CB's comment, to move from project to project, i'm assuming you're meaning across swf files, you can do that via loadMovie(); you cant' move from one layer to another.
