Exchange and backup exec 11d

I am running Exchange 2003 Enterprise and backing it up with Symantec Backup Exec 11D.

My question is I have a user who had a folder she created called order confirmation and she had placed it outside her inbox...right above it.   So, it was contacts, deleted items, order confirmation, inbox.

Last night was the first time I ran the Exchange backup with 11D could it have deleted the folder?

are you backing up the information store or doing individual mailboxes backup?

Well with 11d you have the option in the exchange backup to to the information store with the ability to do individual mailbox restores.

I went to the backup exec control console and looked over the restore stuff and the folder does not show up.  It shows all her other folders that were under her inbox..but not the one that was above it.

that is what I thought...so it she would have had to do something like shift delete and hard deleted it for it to go bye bye?

Just wanted to check since I haven't used the 11d exchange option before.
that could be a possibility
you could check the deleted items folder in the user's outlook or check the "recover deleted items" option in user's outlook to see if that folder is there
