Parallel Port Problems - Disabled in BIOS (2003 SBS)
Hi,
After I had installed Windows 2003 SBS, I decided to free up some IRQs for a remote storage device (Freecom Classic SL Network) and I removed devices from the server at BIOS level (the motherboard is a high end workstation MB) such as the sound card, parallel etc. However now at every startup i get the following message:
The Parallel port driver service failed to start ...
Is there a way to tell the server not to look for the parallel port - it doesnt appear anywhere on the device manager.

Is the print spooler running from the service applet?
ASKER
Yes, it is running (all printers on network are connected via CAT5e, there are no local printers)
