sql2005, long running queries, will "remote login time out " option would help if I increase the value
Hi,
I have a scenario where the store procedure running extremely slow >30 sec from the web client so in sql server 2005 configurations properties "remote login time out", will it help if I increase the default value which is 20 sec to something bigger >40 sec, will this option resolve the time out issue from web client.
and what is the difference between this option with "remote query time out" that come with 0 as default values

possibly changing the default will help but I'd be looking to see if i could improve the stored proc to return data in a more timely way. What is it doing that it takes over 30 seconds?

when it execeeded 20 sec, the we client does not display the data, giving me page not found. I need to know which option is the most appropriate according to my error? its remote login time out or remote query time out?
