Installing OS onto SATA HDD

When installing the OS (Windows Media Center 2005) to a SATA HDD - pressing F6 and installing from the FDD the drivers for the SATA HDD - it asked me to choose RAID or ACHI - I tried both and got the same message - I recieve a message stating:
***Hardware Malfunction***
Call your Hardware vendor for support
NMI: Channel check / IOCHK
***The system has halted***
I was recieving this message all except - NMI: Channel check / IOCHK - before when I was not using the FDD and the drivers off the floppy

Microsoft Windows XP is the sixth release of the NT series of operating systems, and was the first to be marketed in a variety of editions: XP Home and XP Professional, designed for business and power users. The advanced features in XP Professional are generally disabled in Home Edition, but are there and can be activated. There were two 64-bit editions, an embedded edition and a tablet edition.
