FreeBSD to Linux Analysis Question

I am told that Linux has an advantage over FreeBSD Unix, especially in the area of clustering and failover configurations.  Does anyone have a better comparison/solution on this decision?

FreeBSD and Linux have their own set of pros and cons as well as advantages and limitations. Your choice of OS will mainly depend on which clustering application that you are going to use; secondly will be manageability, robustness and performance. It will not be an easy task to manage 4000 procs, this I will tell you...you will need the right OS for the right job.

Do you have any horizontally clusterable application, or application that accomodates a failover cleanly?
If not - you do not care about explanations. Computers do not draw computer graphics, nor clusters do cluster every applications.
