Actualy it was Microsoft Access DB, but i switched them to SQL 2000 since I had some performance problems with Access.. but having same trouble with SQL. So i'm shipping the new SQL 2000 DB to the costumer's. I had the chance to connect 2000 DB with 2005, but i just wanted to be sure that Manager has to be installed on client's and Server Express on Mainframe (actualy simplme XP Pro duel Core ;)). Oh and also, server need .NET 2.0 too ?

SQL 2005 should install the .NET 2.0 framework when it is installed. The same when the client tools (management studio, etc) are installed on a machine.
