Nvm i figured that out. I am stuck in creating the subreport as a popup and having the clicked field a parameter.

I have a hyperlink on one of the column fields in the crystal reports. Once it is clicked it opens another popup window with another crystal report. Is it possible to pass a parameter to the newly open window that has another CR in it and the parameter being the clicked field on the main report?

Crystal Reports is a business intelligence application from SAP SE. It is used to graphically design data connections and report layouts from a wide range of data sources including Excel spreadsheets, Oracle, SQL Server databases and Access databases, BusinessObjects Enterprise business views, and local file-system information.
