The POP3 Connector troubleshooting guide can be found here, and should always be your first place to look for help with the connector:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/885685

I went over the troubleshotting guide but to no eval.

We then had a DNS problem, and now users cant log into the domain, they can see drive mappings but no data.

I have decided than rather than goining over the troubleshooting process for the next few years it isbest to do a complete reinstall and start again. I have all the settings backed up so no biggy.

Thanks any for the idea.
Well, I would agree that you don't want ot have problems drag on... but if it was DNS, then you most likely could have resolved that without a reinstall.

I wonder if when reinstalling, will you avoid such problems again?  Are you following a good resource to do the install?  (see http://sbsurl.com/list for my recommendation of books)
