Cannot restore Nero .nri image file to hard disk.

Hello Everyone,
I have been trying to restore an .nri image from a cd and the only way I can see that the data is intact is in the Nero restore utility. One problem I cannot access the data and restore it anywhere. Is there a utility program that is better than Isobuster and doesn't discriminate any image type file? I really need to get this data off of this cd and any help would be appreciated.

Why don't you use nero? Also, isobuster shouldn't have a problem with the nri filetype.

isobuster shouldn't have a problem with the nri filetype.

I have purchased the Pro , Business version 2.0 of Isobuster and it still doesn't allow .nri file types.
There must be other options out there.
I had a small breakthrough with Nero although when I restored the data in file form back to a cd I found that just about every file was corrupt and wouldn't open up although the file size seemed to be accurate, any clues anyone.

Just to say you both were of a great help , however since the people had a dying hard drive at the time of creating the image, it appears that all 355mb of data is completely corrupt. Would you agree with me here or is there a way of fixing the corruption of data ie jpeg , myob, word, exel, pdf type file all gone to the computer god :(
If you still have the drive that was dying, you could always bring it to a recovery agency (if the data is worth the price). Also if it is still possible to access the disk from another PC you could try scanning it with getdataback.

Agree with above.
Also, image software does copy the bad sectors of the drive so at restoration you still have a
problem with the files.
Unless the image was made when the drive was working well, I would move on.
Good luck.
