I've got a site that's in it's infancy (mostly broken links right now)

My plan is to add 100 tutorials, a forum, a job board, a huge link section, chat, etc. but most of the menu buttons will point to other high quality resources on the web.
I'd like advice about what I'm doing. I'm basically setting it up to place Adsense on it, make it all free, and earn an income from Adsense
What ideas do you have, including how to build linkbait?
How do I start the marketing?
