hi all,
I would like to know what is the Maximum distant that SFP single mode LX Conentor, you have experince with.
even thouth that the Cisco web site they say as stander that it can goes up to 10 K.M

Theoretically, the switch model will not have a negative effect in distance. The SFP has an internal transceiver (LX) which emits the laser, so its independant of the switch model, but what you should check is if the slot on the switch is working propertly.

Thank you for your Answer that’s true what did you say but I tried it, some of (SFP/LX) wouldn't work even I'm using a good quality of systemax fiber single mode, The Question here will the Switch effect, I’m Using (3750 –24 PoE). I didn’t find in Cisco Web site, that Switch sierras could effect the distant.
