troubleshooting Question

Clients cant log on when 1 server is down.

I have two main servers on my network.  Both have active directory and dns.  The active directory is replicating fine between them OK.  DNS also seems to working fine.  

When the first server that was installed on the network goes down clients cant logon.  I also just noticed that they cannot connect to shared folders on the other server either.
