Pinting on a T5725 thinclient

I have a HP thinclient T5725 connecting to windows server 2003 using RDP.  I need to install a Zebra EPL TLP2844 label printer as this is being used in a healthcare environment.  I need to know how to install this printer on the thinclient so that it can be used by the software during a RDP session.  Also, I know very little of Linux! So, I need step by step instructions.

Label Printers are specialized equipment that don't comply to normal printing standards. They are usually addressed directly by the application you are using. So you should try to get into touch with the application maker and maybe the printer manufacturer to get it to run in your environment. Also, does it work from a windows remotely connected PC, and what type of connection with the PC is it using?

ASKER

We have converted a few PC to thinstations using the software from http://thinstation.sourceforge.net.  With the software you don't need to install the printer on the client, but only on the server. The label printers does work from a windows pc using RDP to the windows server, BUT not everytime/loose the connection to the printer during the session. This is the reason why we want to move to linux. Is it possible to use LPR/LPD to set up the printer?
