Monitoing

I would like to monitor who logs in and out of 5 computers on my network. The computers are running windows xp and the servers are running windows 2003. I know I can keep log in the security log files but I need to know who and for how long and what programs they were using. Is there a way with in server 2003 or will I need a third party program.
Thank you.
