cannot telnet exchange server on port 25
im trying to send out emails usin ga PHP script with our exchange server 2000, but ive just noticed that i cannot telnet on port 25.
im not that experienced with exchange server 2000 so what do i need to check inorder to fix this please?

Can you manually telnet to the Exchange server on port 25? As I understood it above, that was an issue.
Can you send/receive external email? Are you testing your script internally or externally?
