Opera sets active tab to other tabs when they refresh.
If I right click on a tab to open it in the background, it will open in the background, but once the page loads, the active tab is set to the new tab.
More annoyingly, sometimes when a page actively refreshes itself in the background the active tab will be set to that other page even though it wasn't opened recently.
I use Opera 9 on four different PCs and this only happens on one of them.
What setting do I have set in Opera that makes it do this?

Middle-Click will do the same thing (open the link in a new window)
I should've said "background tab" rather than "new window"

In Opera, you need to use the shortcut keys,
Shift-command-click to open external link in background.
