Moving workstation to a new domain with the same name

Our comany has moved to a new location and  we have a new Domain controller (new AD) with the same name as our old one.  The problem is that the station woould not recognize the new Domain.  What I have been  doing is moving the workstation to  Workgroup first and then joining it on the new Domain again.  This is very combersome.  Are there any easier ways to do this?  I still have 40 machines to go and Im getting tired!  Please help.

Well,  I'll keep this thread open for at least a day.  If there are no other ways,  I'll accept your solution.
It's just so time consuming.  After I take them off the old domain, I put them to a Workgroup and then Join the domain again.  And then after that, I still have to transfer their profiles to the new one.

Thanks KCTS

That;s the way it is I'm afraid, even though the computer names and domain names are the same the SIDs and other security stuff is different. What you could have done I suppose is to have backed up the relevant parts of AD and done an authorative restore to the new DC (or even make an image of the original DC and copy it to the new one,  but is probably too late for that now - next time !
