like if i wanna go to Washington from New york , i would take either plane or bus or train. I do have many choice but i would select one of them.<br />

so, if GSM wants to add message to carrier frequency, it should accpet one method only.<br />

from PCM definition looks like, PCM is a A/D signal converter. so, PCM probably, is a ADC and DAC with s additional extra stuff,<br />
