How to setup dns for web traffic to go to server using dynamic dns yet route email to a different server?

I have a server connected to an internet connection with a dynamic ip. Normally I would set my dns with a  cname for mydomain.com pointing all traffic to my dynamic dns address. However here is the catch. I want my email to be routed to a server other than my dynamic dns server. I want my web traffic to still go to my dynamic dns server. How do I accomplish this?

Thanks for the quick response. I tried an MX record but when I have a CNAME it seems as though the MX record is ignored because both my mail and web traffic go to my dynamic dns server.

mdrichards, thanks again for your quick response. Using your example above, can I use a CNAME WITH AN MX?

Yep I do allow enough time for it to propogate however for some reason as soon as I put that CNAME in it is like my MX gets ignored.

So if I do not use a cname, is there any way to use dynamic dns with an A record?

Ah...thanks for clarifying.Yep I am using dyndns say I setup my dns as follows

Red condor is our spam filtering company

mydomain.com            MX     mail.redcondor.net      10
mydomain.com     CNAME     dynhost.dyndns.biz

When I do this it seems like the CNAME overrides my MX record and directs both my mail and web traffic to my dynamic dns address. I would like to make it so that my mail goes to red condors spam filtering mail service and my web traffic is redirected to my dynamic dns server.

Networking Protocols
Networking Protocols

Networking software modules are interfaced with a framework implemented on the machine's operating system that implements the networking functionality of the operating system. The best known frameworks are the TCP/IP model and the OSI model. Systems typically do not use a single protocol to handle a transmission. Instead they use a set of cooperating protocols, sometimes called a protocol family or protocol suite.[9] Some of the best known protocol suites include: IPX/SPX, X.25, AX.25, AppleTalk and TCP/IP. Other protocols indirectly related to networking include the hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) and its related technologies, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name Server (DNS) and other Internet protocols.
