SQL 2000 to SQL 2005 Sharepoint swing migration

I am performing a swing migration on an SBS network.
Everything is happily transfered to the new server except sharepoint.
Old server was SBS Premium.  SQL 2000 Sharepoint with full text searching.
New server SBS Premium R2 with Sharepoint MSDE. (empty database)

I have seen threads about upgradeing 2000 to 2005 and for updating MSDE to 2005 but I haven't seen one where I need to remove the MSDE move the 2000 files over and attach them to the 2005 server.

Any hints?

thanks

simply create the users in sql 2005 for shareport.
Copy the ldf and mdf for sharepoint databases to the new server and attach them.

I copied over the 2000 mdf /ldf files files to the new server.
I stopped the companyweb
Stopped sharepoint timer service
uninstalled MSDE sharepoint
Install SQL 2005 to a named instance called sharepoint with windows authentication.

opened SQL Management studio and attached the stsconfig and sts_servername_1 mdf files.

I gave logon permission to network service and sts sp admins

I go to sharepoint central admin and try to add the content database to companyweb and I get:
The account being used by Windows SharePoint Services to connect to database 'STS_JTLSERVER1_1' on server 'JTLSERVER1\SharePoint' is not the database owner (DBO). For more information, please refer to Knowledge Base article 841216 at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=45207.

I checked the DBO its domain\administrator

I assume companyweb runs as some other service account...

Any ideas?

I was basically following the steps here.
The difference was that it wasn't MSDE database files and they werent originally on this computer.  However this was from a "Swing Migration" so the domain, server and all usernames are the same.
