System error 1060 has occurred when doing Net Stop

I am running win 2003 server with the Blackberry enterprise software installed on it. I want to back up the database using Backup Exec but even with the Open file option it still skips the DB. So, I thought that a way round it would be to shedule a net stop command to stop the relevant services while the backup runs at midnight. When I try to net stop any of the installed Blackberry services I get the following error:
"System error 1060 has occurred.
The specified service does not exist as an installed service"
It is an installed service though and can be stopped in the normal way by right clicking it.
Any ideas why this is happening and if there is some fix?

The service name that you have to use with "net stop" and the ones displayed in the services.msc aren't necessarily the same.
Open a command prompt, run "net start" to see a list of running services; use the names displayed here to stop the service(s) you need to stop.
If the service name has spaces in it, don't forget to put quotes around the name:
net stop "Service Name With Spaces in It"
