flash random number from csv file

I need to load a series of numbers from a csv file into flash and then choose one of these numbers randomly.

There will be aprox 4000 number loaded in.

I dont know if this is what you are asking for but, you could load all the numbers from the file into an array and then just use

var randomNum:Number = Math.floor(Math.random() * (maxNr - minNr + 1)) + minNr;

to get a random number and then look it up in the array.

I´m a bit tired right now and I probably misunderstood your question, but if thats the case you can just hit me hard on the shoulder.

Hi thanks, the numbers are not sequential. could i still make an array by loading them in from the file?
