Cisco AP Ethernet Problem

I have a CIsco 11242ag Access Point that even though the Ethernet port is enabled it is reporting being down.  I am unable to bring that port online.  Thoughts?

It is a wireless client connecting to a root 1242.  I can get into it and manage it wirelessly, however the ethernet port will not come up.

Networking hardware includes the physical devices facilitating the use of a computer network. Typically, networking hardware includes gateways, routers, network bridges, modems, wireless access points, networking cables, line drivers, switches, hubs, and repeaters.
