When launching Adobe Audition 2.0 (MSI 915glm-v mainboard, soundblaster xfi-pro) I get the following error sequence: "Shutting down.... To continue working where you left off, please restart Audition. When I click on [OK] I get the following: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.
Runtime error: Program: ...rogram files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Auditon 2.0\Audition.exe
R6025
-Pure Function Call
System Characteristics: Intel Pentium 4, 3.0 GHz processor. 2GB 400 memory, Sata HDD 250GB; Soundblaster XFi Pro; Windows XP 64Bit, latest updates downloaded from Adobe. After downloading updates error message began appearing.
These little problems are growing increasingly annoying wiht Adobe.

Without the source code available, there's nothing much you can ro. This is an implementation specific error indicating that an interface they advertised to have implemented in fact is not.

This solution solved the problem. I deleted the xml file and when I relaunched audition it worked fine.
Great fix, I had the R6025 error pop up when Audion sent a pop up message saying space was low.
on C drive in left hand colum, app data / roaming / adobe / audition and there are the two workspace folders, I moved them to a new folder in Documnebts i case I needed them again. But I'm back in business.! Thank you.
