Does anyone have access to one of these devices.
I need to know if the SYNC light becomes a steady green when properly connected to the ADSL line.
Currently it flashes green, which if the same as Netgear, indictes lack of Sync with the exchange.

Thanks

most routers do this

a flashing sync led indicates trying to connect and goes solid on connection

Indeed - Unfortunately I am trying to diagnose this remotely but the 3Com manual says that the Sync light flashes during initialization, but does not say that it is steady in normal operation.
I just need a positive confirmation of this on this particular unit.

Thanks

have you got a different router and see if that does the same?

NFR key for Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365

Veeam is happy to provide a free NFR license (for 1 year, up to 10 users). This license allows for the non‑production use of Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 in your home lab without any feature limitations.

That would be my next step (on a site visit).  Like you, I suspect that the flashing light is standard that the initial link between the router and exchange is not being made.
