Hi Yahoolane,

You can start by trying the various filters offered in Audacity:

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

"Audacity is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems..."

Hope you find this tool useful!

If you need something more powerful, take a look at Sound Forge:

http://www.download.com/Sound-Forge/3000-2170_4-10527212.html?tag=lst-0-1

It has a lot more to offer than Audacity, but comes at a price of $300. So I suppose it really depends on your requirements and how much audio editing you are going to be carrying out. The free trial above is good for 30 days, so if you only need the program for a limited period of time, it should be ideal!

Good luck!
