I am moving a hosting account to godaddy.  I can't figure out how to set write permissions through front page or throught ftp.  My other previous account I could just go to an ftp program and change the permissions.  I am trying to write to a directory called "write".  I called support and they said I have to do it though front page.  How do I do this?

Are you on a *NIX or Windows server?

Windows:  Sign onto the server via Frontpage: File - open Web - http://www.example.com.  once in, you can right click on the folder and change the permissions

*NIX, you would need to use htaccess
