I would like to find or write an Internet Explorer ActiveX control that will allow me to print a web page to a specific printer without a dialog box. The problem that I am having is that this particular page needs to print to a label printer with very specific orientation properties. I also don't want to set the label printer as my default printer. Can anyone get me started? Thanks.

I don't know anything about ActiveX other then the lack of security built in to it.
But you were asking for a starting point.  I would bet someone comes along with a better way to do it for you, but you can start with these.

All of those came up as broken links.

Perhaps you are behind a proxy that won't let you get to the en-us part of the library.  Do a search of Microsoft for those numbers and see what comes up.

All the links worked for me.

The links are working now. I will look through them to see if they have what I need. I am most familiar with VB so hopefully there is a way to do it with that.

None of the really explaines about how we can accomplish printing from web application. I don't want to use Windows.print() and pop up a print dialog. Printing should happen on the background. Selecting the printer could be acocmplished by an other activex control, which will provide the list of available printer to the use prior to priting.
