Checkbox and select multiple documents in Web Domino View (with pressing button)

I have a domino view "ProjectTasks" (web) which is embedded on the main Project form.  It has an Add task button and Delete task button.

In the first column of my view, I have the following formula:
"[<input type=\"checkbox\" name=\"DeletedList\" value=\""+DeleteID+"\" onClick=\'DeleteTask()\'>]"

I want a checkbox in the view to select multiple documents and user would select the checkbox and press the "Delete Task" button to change the status to "Deleted".  It does not actually delete the project task line item.  It will be greyed out in the view.

In the above formula, I want to reference the Delete task button and run an agent (the agent I know how to do).  I just don't know how to reference the delete task button.  Is this possible?

I looked at this url: http://www.keysolutions.com/NotesFAQ/howmultiple.html

This is what I did:
http://www.keysolutions.com/NotesFAQ/howmultiple.html

In column 1 of my embedded view, I put:
 "[<INPUT TYPE=checkbox NAME=" + "\"noteids" + @Text(@NoteID)+"\">]
In the $$View Template for this embedded view, I put a delete button.

Then the example from the above web page mentions something about doing $$View Template with a form tag.

How do I do that?

Where does the form post code go when I am inside $$View Template form?
