I would like to know how the technology behind Drawball.com works on a high level view. I'm a front end programmer and use technologies such as JSP,JAVA, JS and such but I can't envision how drawball.com works.

Wow, Wow. That is some great application. Somehow, by looking at the loading bar, this is using some tools from flashgear.com. This happens to be a tool web library for the application. I'm guessing that this will probably use some fast server communication. It probably uses JSP with some high-end server tech. Becides that, it seems just to be a large MovieClip thats magnified and then uses line drawing to create the drawings. Then it probably sends the x & y cords to the server and it processes it and spits it out to all of the other computers running that website.

Hope this helps you,
