Upgrade MAC OS X 10.3.9, to 10.4 ???

Hi Experts,

I have G5 server with MAC OS X 10.3.9, I need to have 10.4 , is there place to upgrade my installation? Or do I need to install all over ???

Please advice ??

You need to purchase a copy of OSX Tiger 10.4 and run the install.. While a clean installation is always the best, the OSX10.4 Installation will also do an upgrade of your current OSX10.3 which I have done before and works well retaining all your settings and preferences.  You will then need to download a number of security patches and system updates to get you to the VERY LATEST version 10.4.8.

You can purchase OSX Tiger from Apple or a range of online stores such as Amazon for $129

Now if your Mac is relatively recent and has 1Gb RAM then you might want to wait 8 weeks because OSX 10.5 Leopard is due in May/June 2007 and will have a host of new features

thanks eoinosullivan, but i can't wait as I have to install safari 2. or above to test a application...
