Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

These are RPM package names you need to install:
gcc-2.96-102
gcc3-3.0.4-1
gcc3-c++-3.0.4-1
gcc3-g77-3.0.4-1
gcc3-java-3.0.4-1
gcc3-objc-3.0.4-1
gcc-c++-2.96-102
gcc-chill-2.96-102
gcc-g77-2.96-102
gcc-java-2.96-102
gcc-objc-2.96-102
( version number in names may differ since this is list retreived from RedHat 7.2 Alpha release package list). However you can install all gcc rpm packages with one command and using wild card (*).
Insert your RedHat 7.2 nr.1 , open terminal and as root mount CD and execute command:

rpm  -ivh   gcc*.rpm

good luck
