Exchange Multi Internet Domains?

Exchange Multi Internet Domains?  We are looking at installing an Exchange server and we currently have 3-5 different domains on the internet will Exchange be able to handle all of them from one server?  And will I be able to assign different domains to different users?  We will have one AD in house.
