We are having trouble sending mail to Earthlink.net.  I have been through this before and merely added our ISP's DNS right on the SMTP Protocol.  However, obviously with that already there the mail is still not sending.  I tried also to set Earthlink's DNS Server (4.2.2.1) on the SMTP Protocol as well.  I read some posts by the great Sembee to create an SMTP connector to our ISP's SMTP server.  This is a problem in that our ISP does SMTP authentication through a user name and password first.  They say to prevent relaying....

When I see the messages stuck in the Que it says:  The Remote Server did not respond to a connection attempt.

I have also tried flushing the DNS on the Mail Server but to no avail.  BTW this is Windows Server 2003 R2 with Exchange 2003 SP2, single Server environment.

Please help!

Thanks in advance,

ISPs requiring authentication isn't a problem. The SMTP Connector can do the authentication for you.
Have you seen my SMTP Connector article? http://www.amset.info/exchange/smtp-connector.asp
