Dear My reader,

I have some urgent question here .

I have here one of my clients he has Main Head-office, located in ONE CITY.
he has 4 branches in the same city & all of them are connected to the Head office using Wireless Connection .

All the Head office with the 4 Branches are able to connect to each other and can see the Network for each other.

And according to the CEO, he does not want to use or have Internet at all here in the Head office & 4 Brnaches.

this is not the Problem.

The problem is , the IT manager of the Head office, was searching for the solution, he needs to install a Normal Web Cam on one Location , and then he want to access it from his PC in the Head office & then he start monitior it.

My question is, can i use the WEB CAM without internet connection here, or should i use IP CAM instead of it ?

Please confirm for me & explain to me why ???

I assume that the 4 branches and the main head office are connected with a network radio modem based, so the 5 places are connected without any contact with Internet. Nowadays could be uncommon to find such a scheme in practice, but it was his security + economy(?) choice, so . . .

If you can connect to the other branches computers, what is the complication? Just put an IP cam using one of the free IPs of your network and get access to it as you usually access any computer resources in the other branches.

It will be easy, and no Internet involved.
