We have two ADSL connections into our business and I am wanting to configure them so that in the event of one service failing then the other will connect.

I am also wanting to make certain server traffic go through one ADSL connection and the rest go thru the other.

I have a windows network, is it a matter of configuring the DHCP server to use both routers or is there something more complex I need to do.

I am aware there are routers available with dual wan ports but if I can avoid that expense then I would be happy.

are both adsl links from the same provider?

as unless they are you will find problems combining them
however if you want to use them on separate pc's then just use a different gateway

ie 1 adsl like has 192.168.1.1 and the other has 192.168.1.2
so one pc uses 192.168.1.1 for its gateway and the other pc uses 192.168.1.2 so both adsl links will be use
