configuring auto dial with Outlook and my land line

Hi,

In the past, I had an expernal modem that dialed the phone from my database contact manager.  Can I do this with Outlook?

Yes.  If the computer has a working modem attached, then Outlook can dial a contact's number for you.  In Outlook search Help for "dialing contacts".
