Coldfusion and Oracle Collaboration Suite... Can I share a security session?

I'm working for a small company that are currently using Oracle Collaboration Suite for E-mail, Calendaring, Discussions, Workgroups, etc.  They also purchased Oracle Application server which includes Oracle Portal.    Here is my question.  I would like to build a custom Portal using CF with the ability to automatically log the user into his oracle e-mail, calendaring, etc. accounts also?  How could this be done?  If not, could I somehow use the Oracle security session for my Coldfusion application?

In Oracle Application server there is a part named Identity management that can do
what you want:

It is not so easy - you have to learn what is LDAP, Internet Directory and also
how to manage Oracle Application Server.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the response.

Great, so it's possible.  Now where do I start with this?  My vision is still very grey.
This is a big topic.
Yesterday we were invited to Oracle here and a 5
hours lecture was delivered.
You have to read the docs and to decide which
solution fits your needs there are plenty of
documents, but it takes time to get oriented.

Definitelly it is not an easy task
