Web content filtering

I'm needing to do some web filtering......it's for a lab. The client doesn't want to pay....has anyone ever used the ICRA Plus?....It doesn't block much......anyone know of anything free out there?

I assume you mean content (adult, etc) filtering.  If so and you are interested in filtering with the DNS you can look at www.scrubit.com.  I haven't tried it but heard good things about it from a couple of sources.  No cost and in fact there is not any software that is really involved.   The question is how "hack" proof you need it to be.

Did you have any follow up questions or need more information?  I noticed the B grade and just wanted to find out the reason.  If you need some more information I will be happy to provide what I can.  It is nice to have a chance to earn the A grade. :)
