Exmerge mail restore

Is there a good free d/l of Exmerge to use with 5.5 on server 2000 with info on how to use it?  I am only looking for this to keep on file however, I would like some layman terms on how to use it, etc..

what do you actually need? exmerge for 5.5 or something else?
