Where do I locate the Exchange 5.5 mail gateway size limit at?  Currently there are restrictions set up as 70k, 80, 90k for the size limits on the mailbox themselves however, I am seeking info on trying to limit the amount of files going to the .edb files??  If this is possiable?

The users are setup to send and receive any size mail, does this affect anything?  I'm trying to help protect the size of the .edb files and would like info on that also.  I hope my questions are clear for you,

Thanks.

internet email size limit is configured in the internet mail connector/service properties
internal mail is done via message transfer properties
the restrictions that you have in place are for the user's mailbox size
no limit on the amount of mesage size can increase the database size because whatever a user sends or receives is stored in the database.

8000k comes to 8MB. I think that it is the default size.
It all depends on the amount of emails that are sent and received by the users.
