Undeliverables after mailbox deletion and re-creation

Hello again

One of our users mailboxes was deleted recently to try and resovle some issues, however, some users are now reciving Undeliverables when trying to email this user (Mailbox has been created with  the same SMTP addy). If I look at the Sent email in the users mailbox and double click the Users name in the 'TO:' field the properties box comes up but with all blank information with just the Display name as

'/O=mydomain/OU=here COURT/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=SITES/CN=london/CN=USERS/CN=MASMITH

If the users open the GAL and select the user from there it goes through fine though....

Any ideas ?

After creating new mailbox for this users; make sure you can send him email via your mailbox accessed via OWA. If still you are not able to send him email then problem must be with

1> RUS (Recipient Update Service)
2> AD replication (incase you have 2 or more AD Sites configured)

If you are able to send email via OWA;

2> Users who are facing problem must be using Outlook in cached mode. Therefore Offline Address Book must be updated & downloaded.

just to clarify when recipients name is typed in manuely in the TO: box on a new email i.e John Smith. it doesnt seem to assosiate them with anything and displays blank properties for the user. But if the user selects the entry from the GAL it sends fine.
'2> Users who are facing problem must be using Outlook in cached mode. Therefore Offline Address Book must be updated & downloaded.' Sounds like the problem to be honest. How can i generate a new Offline addy book for the user or all the users ?
It is referring to cahced entry. You need to remove Outlook.NK2 file from user's profile "C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook".

Thats great worked a treat. But surely I havent got to go around deleting the NK2 file from every users profile? is there an alternative way to correct this ?
I think you can create a login script to remove this outlook.nk2 file. Once the issue is resolved completely  you can remove this line.

Otherwise no other option.
Ok thats great. Thanks for the swift reply !
