can memory of DDR400 fit into DDR2 800?

I want to upgrade my motherboard, but the motherboard that i want to get only support DDR2 800, the question is I have 2x 1Gb DDR-400 can those fit on DDR2-800? will they run properly?

Nope, ddr will not work in a ddr2 slot. they are physically different ddr has 184 pins, ddr2 has 240 pins.
