I have IBM websphere installed on one HP-UX server and TAM(Tivoli Access MAanger), PolicyServer, LDAP installed on another Server. How can i generate TAM-plugin? in otherwords how can i supply TAM configuration information to websphere? Do i need to use SvrSslCfg utility to generate that ??? i greatly appreciate if any one shed some light on this????

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes, that is correct. You have to run the SvrSslCfg which basically links the WebSphere application server with the TAM box (primarily including Policyserver and Authorization server). It creates a config file (as specified within the SvrSslCfg parameters, e.g. pdperm.properties) as well as a user account within WAS and a keystore (for secure communication between WAS and TAM).
