Deploying VB.NET web applications.

I have a VB.NET website which I can build and run fine within my Visual Studio 2005 environment. Now I have finished my website I am looking to run it on my local computer. Can someone please give me step by step instructions on how to setup my VB.NET website on a Windows Server 2003 machine. I am learning this so please give detailed instructions.

Thanks in advance

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

you need configure your IIS (internet information server)

Contro Panel -> administrative tools -> IIS
in predetermined site web  you need to create a new Virtual Directory.
The assistant start asking the name for your app (MyFirstApp) next step is search the folder where you have the app (for example  C:\Myapp_01) click next and give the permissions, then finish.

Now you can open IE and type in the addres bar  http://localhost/MyFirstApp/start.aspx  or http://your_ip/MyFirstApp/start.aspx  (with        start.aspx i the initial page (i don't know what's the name of your).
